Video #1: Oct 30/10 - 50 fly from push

Video taken this afternoon courtesy of my roommate and a digital camera, so the quality isn't that great, but hopefully it works for feedback purposes!

    Length of your stroke looks nice, body position is great too, nice even stroke rate.

    Technique to work on - kicking - you seem to be kicking from your knee - not entirely of course but a greater emphasis on kicking from your hips should be made. When you are underwater kicking ensure your streamline is straight and you are "standing" tall with long neck posture.
    To work on this try to mix in some dolphin kick with no board on your side and your back and front ensure that you are kicking the same amount in both directions.


    I can see what you were talking about in your email at the front of your stroke, you are rushing the catch phase remember the accelerate through the stroke your hands moving faster at the end then at the front.
    Some sculling drills will help your feel on the water.
